It has been about 6 weeks since our official "move-in" date to our home in Pleasant Hill. We've had the chance to settle in and reflect on how lucky we are. It is however, very important to extend a special thanks to you, Diane, for your expertise, kindness, clarity and sensitivity to our special family needs. It is not often in our world today we can find an individual who takes their profession honestly and seriously. You do that and more seemingly effortlessly.

It took us quite a while to really find a home that was suitable, and, when we had to back out of an offer because we felt uncomfortable, you never made us feel uncomfortable. In fact, you made us feel justified and never once questioned our decision. All of this while you were trying to enjoy your family vacation.

As life-long East Coast residents, we faced our corporate relocation to California with trepidation. We couldn't match our 2-acre retreat on Philadelphia's Mainline, but we did find in only 2 days with Diane several properties which made us smile. Diane listened to our concerns, analyzed our needs, and came up with immediate answers. With Diane on a vacation halfway around the world, we had no trouble consummating a favorable deal. Diane set up a shipboard office, while her excellent assistant, Julie Rasmussen handled details on an hourly basis.

With Diane, no problem goes unsolved. Whatever should be covered by inspection and subsequent allowances is done without asking. Diane has treated our purchase as if it were her own. Better service you will never find.

"We lived in Danville for 27 years and after our retirement we decided to relocate to
La Quinta CA (Palm Springs area) in 1999 and chose Diane Vallon of UCB Real Estate in Danville to sell our home. We put a deposit on a new home in La Quinta Fairways and paid approx. $35,000 cash for upgrades. A couple of months into our Escrow period Diane sadly informed us that the purchaser of our home had decided not to consumate the purchase due to the arrest of their son. We panicked as we could see our new home in the Desert, and our $35,000 upgrade deposit, going down the drain but Diane told us "You will lose your new home in the Desert over my dead body" and she immediately telephoned the Realtor handling our purchase and explained that the problem with our sale was not our fault and asked them to keep in close contact with her so that we would not lose our purchase.

To make a long story as short as possible, Diane sold our home in a few weeks, at close to our asking price by employing some really creative financing and expert
salesmanship.

Thanks to Diane Vallon we were able to complete the purchase of our new home in La Quinta without losing our upgrade deposit and she even arranged with Bekins
Van & Storage in Dublin, CA to handle our move which was effortless. About a year after we moved to La Quinta Diane handled the sale of our Apartment Complex in Hayward, CA as it had become too difficult to manage from 400 miles away and she obtained our full asking price.
